DISCUSSION OF THE CINEMA PROJECT JAMI AND NAVOI
Based on the proposal of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the Art Council of the Cinematography Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed a preliminary synopsis of the historical and artistic film Jami and Navoi.
The Tajik side was represented by the director of the State Institution “Tojikfilm” Mahamadsaid Shohiyon, co-author Safar Khakdodov and co-director Faizullo Faizov.
The artistic council set a deadline until January 15, 2022 to submit the final synopsis of the film.
In this connection, the working group of the Uzbek side will arrive in the city of Dushanbe in January 2022 and together with the working group of Tajikistan to prepare the final version of the synopsis of the film “Jami and Navoi”.
