Presentation of the film “The Radiance of Stars: Jami and Navoi.”
On March 26, as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Heads of State, esteemed Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, participated in the cultural program “Evening of Friendship” featuring artists from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. During the event, the historical feature film “Shining Stars: Jami and Navoi” was presented.
The film is dedicated to the life and creative legacy of the outstanding Eastern thinkers and poets — Abdurahman Jami and Alisher Navoi — and reflects the shared spiritual values, centuries-old cultural closeness, and historical friendship between the peoples of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that the premiere of the full version of the film is scheduled ahead of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
